GROCERIES

If you have a rental car, you will drive by several grocery stores on the way.

If you are arriving late, Hagkaup is a good choice, just 500m away. Bónus and Krónan are in the same street, about 5 minutes drive away, Bónus is the low-budget option and Krónan is more like a supermarket.

Wine, beer and spirits are sold in government run stores called Vínbúðin. At Keflavik airport you can buy alcohol tax- and duty-free. The arrival store is located right next to baggage claim and is always open if there is a flight either departing or arriving.
The nearby liquor store, Vínbúðin, is in the same building as Hagkaup,
open Mon – Thu 11-18, Fri 11-19 and Sat 11-18.
